Shrinking The Bash: Week 3

Check out this story as Petro teaches Brian to eat out...RESPONSIBLY! Down additional 5lbs from the week before, Brian and Petro ventured out to an uptown Charlotte Italian cuisine gem Aria to learn the basics of healthy eating while out with clients, friends or family.

Eating out while on a weight loss journey should be enjoyable and not feel like torture and Aria's team was great with suggesting us a few simple modifications to keep our steaks healthy without compromising the flavor! 

Here are FOUR takeaways:

  1. Check out the menu online before you go. Figure out if there's something you can eat or modify.
  2. If you're at a restaurant that serves things bread before the meal, ask them to not bring it. Avoid temptation!
  3. Don't be afraid to ask for modifications to your food. Most places are very willing to accommodate.
  4. Skip the drink(alcohol or soda), and go with water. Also, don't drink too much water while eating. It helps your digestion.
